Today, we are introducing you to one of our community members, Dani Rosen! Dani is a ray of light - being able to stitch together IRL a few weeks ago was SO great.

Where are you from, where do you live now?
I'm from Greater Boston and now I live in Somerville, MA.
What’s your LNS (if applicable)?
Osterville Needlepoint and Stitch Boutique, Boston
What’s your current WIP?
Stitch Its England Pullover Sweater and The Collection Bean Boot
Favorite fiber to stitch with?
Silk and Ivory or DMC Pearle Cotton

18 all the way
What’s your *white whale* dream canvas?
The Mopsey Beet Mandala or the Morgan Julia Pride Bar Cart
What’s a must have in your stitch bag?
I have a tackle box I got from the Target dollar section that holds my needle threaders, orts, scissors and extra materials when I'm stitching at home that helps keep me organized.
What’s inspiring you right now?
I'm really inspired by New England, bright colors and the promise of summer. Born and bred New Englander and I thrive in the summer for sureeee !
Favorite place to stitch?
I love to stitch on the plane (hyperfocus zone) but just on my living room couch watching reality TV.
Favorite project you’ve completed?
Unwind Studios Agrumes for sure! It was my first foray into decorative stitches
Favorite summertime beverage of choice?
Cutwater Transfusions for the beach or Spindrift Pink Lemonade seltzer
What draws you to needlepoint?
The connection to my material grandmother and being creative in an accessible way. The community is a HUGE plus that keeps me coming back.
